Proposed effective date: July 23, 2026
These Terms of Use (Terms) are an agreement between you and Vincent Azar (Cage Rivals, we, us, or our) governing your use of the Cage Rivals application, website, and related services (the Service). By creating an account or selecting I Agree, you agree to these Terms and the Community Guidelines and acknowledge the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old and located in a territory where Cage Rivals is offered. The initial public Service is intended for users in the United States. If you are under the age of legal majority where you live, you may use the Service only as permitted by applicable law and with any required parent or guardian involvement.
Do not create an account if you are prohibited from using the Service by law or have been suspended from Cage Rivals without written permission to return.
If you are between 13 and the age of legal majority where you live, you confirm that you have permission from a parent or legal guardian when that permission is required by law. Where applicable law requires additional parental consent or age assurance that Cage Rivals cannot provide, you may not create or continue using an account. We may restrict access in a jurisdiction when reasonably necessary to comply with its age-related requirements.
2. Accounts
Provide accurate information, keep your credentials confidential, and promptly update your account details. You are responsible for activity under your account unless caused by Cage Rivals' failure to use reasonable security. Notify us at cagerivalsapp@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
You may not sell, transfer, share, or create an account for another person; use automation to create accounts; impersonate another person; or evade a suspension, block, age screen, rate limit, or other safety control.
3. The Service
Cage Rivals is an entertainment game for making UFC fight picks, competing in head-to-head league matchups, climbing rankings, earning titles and trophies, communicating with other players, and viewing recent MMA news links.
Fight cards, start times, fighter status, official results, scoring inputs, and other sports data may change. Cage Rivals may correct imports, void affected picks, reprocess results, and correct scores or rankings when needed to apply the published game rules accurately. We will not intentionally change the established scoring or ranking rules retroactively without notice.
4. Fantasy Credits and Money League Mode
Money League Mode is an optional game-scoring format that uses Fantasy Credits (FC). Fantasy Credits:
- Have no purchase price or cash value.
- Cannot be purchased, sold, transferred, gifted, withdrawn, redeemed, or exchanged for money, prizes, goods, services, cryptocurrency, or anything of value.
- Are not a wallet, bank balance, security, gambling product, wager, entry fee, payment, debt, or claim against Cage Rivals or another user.
- Exist only as calculation records used to compare league performance.
You may not use Cage Rivals, Money League Mode, Fantasy Credit settings, messages, or results to organize, advertise, track, demand, or settle any real-world wager, entry fee, prize, payment, transfer, or gambling activity. Cage Rivals does not collect or facilitate such activity. We may disable a league or account that violates this rule.
5. User content and communications
User Content includes display names, avatars, league names/descriptions, messages, reactions, feedback, reports, and any other material you submit. You keep ownership of your User Content. You grant Cage Rivals a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, format, display, transmit, moderate, and create technical copies of User Content only as needed to operate, secure, improve, and legally provide the Service. This license ends when the content and associated account data are deleted, except for irreversibly anonymized records, other users' content, and narrowly required legal/safety evidence.
You represent that you have the rights needed to submit your User Content and that it follows these Terms, the Community Guidelines, and law. Do not upload another person's image or personal information without permission.
League chat is visible to authorized members of that league. Direct messages are intended for their participants. Do not assume any online communication is confidential or suitable for emergencies.
6. Acceptable use and community safety
Follow the Community Guidelines. You may not:
- Threaten, harass, bully, hate, sexually exploit, groom, doxx, impersonate, or defraud another person.
- Post illegal, infringing, malicious, deceptive, sexually explicit, graphically violent, or child-exploitative content.
- Spam, scrape, probe, reverse engineer, disrupt, overload, or bypass the Service or its access/safety controls, except to the extent law gives you a non-waivable right.
- Use bots, scripts, alternate accounts, collusion, or false information to manipulate picks, leagues, rankings, reports, or enforcement.
- Solicit money, gambling, wagering, payment settlement, financial credentials, or sensitive personal information through the Service.
Use in-app reporting and blocking tools for violations. Contact emergency services—not Cage Rivals—if anyone is in immediate danger.
7. Moderation and enforcement
We may review reports and content as reasonably needed to operate, secure, and enforce the Service. Depending on the circumstances, we may remove or redact content, warn users, restrict features, remove league access, suspend or delete accounts, preserve evidence, or contact authorities. We aim to apply the Community Guidelines consistently, but cannot guarantee that all objectionable content will be detected before you see it.
Display names, league names and descriptions, league-chat messages, direct messages, and optional messages shared with news articles pass through a rules-based Cage Rivals server filter before storage. User text is not sent to an AI provider for this filtering. The filter can make mistakes and does not replace reports, blocking, or human review.
You may appeal an enforcement decision through cagerivalsapp@gmail.com. We may take immediate action without prior notice when reasonably necessary to protect users, the Service, or the public.
8. AI features
An optional avatar is processed by an automated safety-moderation provider before storage. If enabled, fight-night recaps may be generated by artificial intelligence from structured league/gameplay facts. AI moderation or recaps can be incomplete or incorrect. AI recaps are entertainment commentary and do not control official picks, scores, rankings, titles, or Fantasy Credit calculations. Report a harmful or inaccurate result through the closest in-app Report or Feedback action, or email cagerivalsapp@gmail.com.
9. Third-party services and content
The Service depends on third-party hosting, authentication, security, AI, push, email, MMA-data, and other providers. The News feature displays limited publisher-supplied metadata and links to external publisher pages. Cage Rivals does not control external sites and is not responsible for their availability, content, policies, or transactions. Your use of a third-party service may be subject to its terms.
Cage Rivals is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by UFC, its fighters, the news publishers, data providers, Apple, or Google unless we say otherwise in writing. Third-party names and marks belong to their owners.
10. Cage Rivals intellectual property and license
The Service, excluding User Content and third-party material, is owned by Cage Rivals or its licensors and protected by law. Subject to these Terms, Cage Rivals gives you a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for its intended non-commercial purpose.
No license permits you to copy, sell, sublicense, publicly exploit, or create a competing service from Cage Rivals software, designs, databases, or content.
11. Privacy, deletion, and termination
The Privacy Policy explains our data practices. You may stop using the Service at any time and may initiate account deletion in account settings or through the account-deletion page.
We may suspend or terminate access for a material or repeated violation, security risk, legal requirement, or discontinuation of the Service. Where reasonable, we will provide notice and an appeal opportunity. Termination does not convert Fantasy Credits or other game records into anything of value.
Sections that by their nature should survive termination—including ownership, lawful enforcement evidence, disclaimers, limits, and dispute terms—will survive, but not in a way that permits us to retain personal data contrary to the Privacy Policy or applicable law.
12. Service changes and availability
We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue features, providers, or availability to maintain security, legal compliance, product quality, or operations. We may provide advance notice when a material change reasonably permits it. The Service may experience outages and is not an emergency, financial, wagering, or official sports-results service.
13. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided as is and as available. Cage Rivals disclaims implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. We do not warrant uninterrupted availability, error-free data, a particular matchup/ranking outcome, or the accuracy of third-party or AI-generated content. Nothing in these Terms excludes a warranty or right that law does not allow you to waive.
14. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vincent Azar and Cage Rivals will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages; loss of data, goodwill, opportunity, or expected results; or damages arising from third-party services, sports data, user content, unauthorized account access not caused by our failure to use reasonable security, or your reliance on AI-generated or unofficial content.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the total liability of Vincent Azar and Cage Rivals for all claims arising out of or relating to the Service or these Terms will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid directly to Cage Rivals for the Service during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim or (b) 100 US dollars. Cage Rivals currently does not charge users for the Service.
These limits do not apply to fraud, gross negligence, willful misconduct, death or personal injury caused by negligence, obligations that cannot legally be limited, or any other liability that applicable law does not permit us to exclude or limit. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limits, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
15. Indemnity
If you are at least 18 years old, to the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Vincent Azar and Cage Rivals from third-party claims, damages, losses, and reasonable costs, including reasonable legal fees, arising from your unlawful use of the Service, your User Content, your material violation of these Terms or the Community Guidelines, or your infringement of another person's rights. This obligation does not apply to the extent a claim results from our own negligence, willful misconduct, or violation of law.
If you are under 18, this section applies only to the extent permitted by law and with any parent or guardian involvement required by law. Nothing in this section requires a minor to waive a non-waivable right or assume an obligation that applicable law does not allow.
16. Governing law and disputes
California law governs these Terms and disputes relating to them or the Service, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except that mandatory consumer protections in your home jurisdiction continue to apply.
Before filing a lawsuit, you and Cage Rivals agree to make a good-faith attempt to resolve the dispute informally. Send a written notice to cagerivalsapp@gmail.com describing the issue, the requested resolution, and information reasonably needed to identify the affected account or transaction. The receiving party will have 30 days to respond before either party files a claim. This requirement does not prevent either party from seeking urgent injunctive relief, using an eligible small-claims court, or contacting a government agency.
Except for an eligible small-claims matter or where applicable law requires a different forum, state and federal courts located in Sacramento County, California will have exclusive jurisdiction, and you and Cage Rivals consent to personal jurisdiction there. These Terms do not require binding arbitration and do not waive either party's right to participate in a class or representative action when applicable law permits one.
17. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. We will post the revised version and effective date and provide additional notice or obtain renewed agreement when required. If you do not agree to a material update, stop using the Service and delete your account.
